Hi, I'm Chris Berry and this is my art website. By day I work in academia as a cognitive psychologist and in my spare time I like to paint. My latest painting series is called Lost in the Forest, where I invite you to step into a surreal forest-world in which nature intersects with memory and perception.​

The series itself consists of large (100 x 70 cm) acrylic paintings on canvas. Each is a scene inspired by my time spent in nature. Because each painting is the result of a daily routine of painting for half an hour each night, a typical painting takes several weeks or even months to complete.
